It's comfortable to stand on the sidelines and criticize, but nothing great is ever accomplished by it. Success always starts with participation. In the beginning, you're typically not great at whatever you're doing, but there is something magical about doing anyway. I invest in startups for a living and I know how easy it is to choose not to participate and look smart, and how little value is created by that activity. It is easy to pinpoint a few reasons why every startup won't succeed. You can always find something. Maybe you can find reasons why the business model won't scale or maybe the market is too small. However, you don't need to find reasons why something will fail, but why it will succeed. If you want to accomplish great things, you need to do.
