When investing in startups, one thing that is often underestimated is the ability of a VC to move fast. Today, investors are trying to diversify, usually by marketing themselves as a partner who brings knowledge and network to the table but rarely as a quick investor.
However, process duration can be equally important. Founders can spend 6 months on a fundraising process, and turning that time into just a few weeks is extremely valuable.
